Recreating famous works of art.

We have been studying famous artists and their paintings this term. We researched a number of different artists in our Computing lessons in order for us to recreate or add an interesting element to the image.  Working in small groups, we used the green screen equipment and the 'Green Screen' app by Do Ink. We were able to import the original image and manipulate it to immerse ourselves within the paintings  We collaborated with our fellow group members, deciding if we were going to direct, position and photograph or pose (or take turns!) We brought in our own props to help bring a realistic feel to the pictures (Ms Fellowes' coat came in handy a few times!)

Below we have shown the original works of art and our own versions. We think we did a great job at interpreting the mood of the photos and bringing something new and interesting to each image.  What do you think?
